The Trade & Investment Mission to China tour is organized by Greater Houston Partnership, Houston’s most influential business organization. The Houston delegation group consists of local dignitaries, elites from Houston’s mainstay industries of energy, science, finance, medical, etc.  Wison is the only enterprise in energy industry that the delegation group visited in Shanghai.

“We are very glad to pay visit to Wison today. Houston is the centre of world energy and chemical industry, while being the export hub of America’s ample natural gas resources, which coincide with Wison’s core businesses. We understand Wison has existing presence in Houston with subsidiary companies and its North American business have been rapidly expanding. We very much look forward to the promising future of the company’s business development in the region and the important role Wison shall play in trade and investment activities between China and Houston.” Mr. Bob Harvey said in his speech to Wison audiences.

Mr Song Qu, President of Wison Group, stressed, “Houston provides an extraordinary platform for us and we hope to integrate the strengths of China and the US via this platform, and to jointly contribute more to the world energy industry. We belive this will further fuel global economic growth and create more value for the human society.”

Two business segments under the Wison Group have operational presence in Houston for the purpose of marketing and synergies in providing engineering services to North American market. By leveraging its leading technological strengths and rich EPC service experience in petrochemicals, coal chemicals, refineries of Wison Engineering Ltd. (“Wison Engineering”), combined with Wison Offshore & Marine’s cutting-edge capabilities in module fabrication, LNG and offshore oil&gas facilities, Wison is committed to offering quality services that enable energy development of the Houston area and State of Texas. Earlier in July, Wison Engineering was awarded an engineering, procurement, fabrication and construction(EPFC) contract for Formosa Plastics U.S.A.’s new-built Low Density Polyethylene(LDPE) plant in Texas while Wison Offshore & Marine has taken on the module fabrication work scope. This very project signified Wison is gaining market recognition in U.S. market, which paved the way for its growth in North America.

The visit by the delegation group enables Wison to tie further with North American market and to broaden the conversation with various industries in Houston, laying a good resource foundation for its future strategic efforts in energy engineering, trading and development.
