Directed by a clear and crisp whistle, a 40-ton container was hoisted slowly by a 400-ton crane at the cracking furnace area in the 800,000 t/a Sichuan Petrochemical ethylene unit. The radiation section of the F-1120 cracking furnace was built by Wilson Engineering Ltd. Wison was contracted to build the cracking furnaces and furnace front pipeline lanes for Sichuan Petrochemical. The first hoisting activity represented the initial installation stage of the cracking furnaces.
