2 Million Safety Manhours Performance Achieved On RPLC Site Preparation Project

Recently, a good news came from the site preparation project of the Puerto la Cruz oil refinery Deep Conversion Project in Venezuela(“RPLC site preparation project” or “site preparation”), that until November 16, 2015, it has achieved 2 million safety manhours performance without lost time injury. It not only laid a foundation for the project’s smooth progress, but also showed Wison Engineering’s outstanding HSE management in Latin America market.

Ms Valeria Negretti, RPLC Project Manager of PDVSA gave a warm and sincere speech at the ceremony, she said: “I decided to come back as soon as possible to attend this ceremony and express my gratitude and congratulation to Wison on hearing the good news of 2 million safety manhours. The overall execution of site preparation project is excellent. It reflects Wison’s advantages and characteristics in project management and 2 million safety manhours performance is a remarkable achievement among PDVSA’s all projects.” She also expected Wison Engineering’s better performance in the next stage. 

The site preparation project is the first project executed by Wison in South America. Strict safety management has been implemented based on the accumulated HSE management experience and mature system. Wison has also studied Venezuela’s laws and regulations and carried out HSE trainings for all project employees and subcontractors. Up to now, a high level HSE management team involving 14 Venezuelan staff has been built up.
